Engine removal
After bringing the car home, my boss was modest to let me work on the car in a heated space inside the company I worked for.
The engine needed to be removed because of a spun bearing on no. 6 rod, so knowing that it was time to strip the complete engine and make it stronger than Nissan let it role from the production line!
First took of the bumper and bonnet to get access to the big 6 cylinder
Took out the radiator
Remove inlet and charge pipe plus the powersteering
Lots of connectors later, me and my college put an engine crane and some slings around the engine
The gearbox bolts and starter engine are difficult to reach so we took engine and box complete out of the car. Here's my college removing the transmission crossmember.
Lifting the engine up to 45< degrees and lowering the jack under the gearbox
This is the 45<degrees angle
Crane is on it's maximum.... at that moment we were both thinking if the crane would hold it ....
Engine out next to the company CAT C27 ENGINE
Removed the gearbox and ready to take apart

Another picture of the engine

Big dirty empty space
